Some of the most revealing stories live between two women.

So…Why Her? is a conversation series about women and the extraordinary relationships that help shape who we become.

In every episode, one woman enters the room with another woman she has chosen from her life.

She could bring anyone.

Her mother, daughter, sister, mentor, colleague, neighbor or closest friend.

Together, they talk about the lives women actually live: love, work, family, friendship, aging, caregiving, betrayal, reinvention, loss, joy and all the ridiculous things that make them laugh until they cannot breathe.

They revisit the moments that shaped them, the seasons they carried one another through and the ways they have challenged, encouraged and changed each other.

We witness two women who feel safe enough to be brilliant, ridiculous, tender, irreverent, honest and fully themselves.

Neither woman becomes smaller so the other can shine.

They make each other brighter.

And out of every woman she could have chosen, she chose the one sitting beside her.

So, we begin by asking:

So…Why Her? is now in production, and we are inviting women to be considered for our founding conversations.

We are looking for women with an extraordinary connection. Women who laugh together, tell each other the truth, share the stories only they know and show us what it looks like when women genuinely delight in one another.

Your woman might be your mother, daughter, sister, mentor, colleague, neighbor or closest friend. She might be the woman who believed in you, challenged you, carried you through something difficult or changed the direction of your life.
